Team Alice update
Snippets from the dry dock. Alice has had her superstructure removed this week and is currently undergoing an extensive redesign of her top deck and keel. The designs have been remarked as being revolutionary in the field of Footy 370ts. Before being stripped back however she was put on the weighing scales and posted in at 960gms! Quite a heavy yacht for a footy but team manager Mr Flambouyance remarked " its probably why Alice performed so well in some of the heavier seas she raced in this year. In fact her performance in the Carmarthen Cup, a Footy force 12, was outstanding and probably down to the over ballasting of the design". That said she will be lightened significantly during her refit and optimistic estimations place this at a 20% shaving, quite a snip indeed!

Yes, hello. I was present at the Carmarthen Cup, help at Yaverland, Isle of Wight - i must agree with the report that Alice handled incredibly well in those high seas.
