Following favourable initial construction tests the Darbryl Team have announced that they are working on a top secret second craft (Darbryl2TS) that incorporates the latest in high performance design trends. Team Boss T Bag – “If we manage to pull this off it will revolutionize the Footy370t scene for years to come". When asked about the upcoming season and whether such dramatic changes could scupper their plans for 2012 T Bag responded, "We appreciate this is a high risk approach so also have the more conventional Darbryl1 that will stand in should testing not go according to plan”. It is hoped that both Darbryls will be complete in time for the 2012 registration deadline.
It is also important to note that both of these vessels are being completed using a single enhanced New Boat Construction budget. “Using the new composite materials and build techniques we are capable of delivering a finished craft at far lower cost than in the past” says Team Accountant MrsT.
Just what will this new design entail? – we look forward to the first day of the season to see which boat will be unveiled for competition. We also took the opportunity to speak with MrsT about the possibility of entering as a skipper for 2012. “I’d be delighted, and if both Darbryls are complete by registration day I would certainly consider acting as Helm for 1” she said.
OMG I can hardly contain myself!!!
ReplyDeleteBreaking news. MrsT has just been overheard saying that she will not be Helming for the second Darbryl. Are there problems within the team camp?
ReplyDeleteDear Anomynous, I don't know where you get your information from kind sir, but we have just checked with T Bag and Mrs T and they both confirm this story is hogswash. In fact, Mrs T confirmed she is now even more interested in entering in to the exciting world of Footy 370t racing.
ReplyDeleteThis florid and blatant abuse of the work wide Internet website PowerPoint show site for the promotion of T-Bag exploitation of boating and manufacturing jargon has got to stop...
