Triton Launch

It was with great excitement and anticipation that the mighty Triton was unveiled to the Footy 370t committee and public on Friday. Team Egg Nog decided to go public and bring forward their announcement by combining it with her first sea trials. There was much excitement at the BHMYC and the crowds were out in full all trying to get the first view of this highly acclaimed and much talked about design. To verify her full Footy Status Team Egg Nog was joined by team Darbryl for the rigid scrutineering process that all Footy 370t s must go through. Her dimensions and weights were checked and all found to be in order. It was then off to the launch site. When asked about whether this was a risking gamble to unveil and test on the same day team manager Mr Flamouyance said " not really, we are confident in our designers abilities and the yards construction techniques, in fact we are virtually race ready!" and indeed they were, with only a small servo fracture to deal with she sailed like a dream. It was also noted the the team had also employed the services of the internationally renowned Footy 370t sail designer T-Bag to assist with some design tweeking on the day. However this proved disastrous as they clearly had underestimated the speed reactions of the original sail and mast design and there was a small pitch poling moment. Perhaps in future team Egg Nog would be better off relying on their own designers!
But what of the design i hear you all ask - well you'd best check the pictures and video page of this blog, i could not do the design justice in mere words. wow what a winner.

footnote - Bookies odds on Triton to win the world championship have now decreased to 1/1.5

I agree, this is going to a Footy walkover. A complete whitewash. Are the others going to bother turning up?? i wouldn't.
